The Windward Islands
Known as the Windward Island, due to their exposure to the wind, the south-eastern islands of the Caribbean include Martinique, St Lucia, St Vincent, the Grenadines, and Grenada.
Escape from the world at the top of St Lucia's mountain peaks gazing over the island's tropical rainforests and white and volcanic beaches. Discover the ubiquitous British influence on Barbados along with the singsong patter of the bustling markets. Bask in the golden sun along the shores of St Vincent en route to the tranquil Grenadines, a string of over 100 island idylls with pink-toned sands and riots of luscious tropical flowers. Finally, encounter the 'spice' island of Grenada, where scents of nutmeg, cinnamon, and ginger caress the cobbled streets of St George's harbour at the very tip of the Caribbean.
